This California car was sold new equipped with a 289 cubic-inch V8, four-speed manual transmission, Acapulco Blue paint, and a black standard interior.
Over the years, it was thoughtfully transformed into the driver-focused restomod offered here, now powered by a rebuilt 351 Windsor V8 with numerous performance and drivability upgrades.
The restoration began under the previous owner in 2004.
During that ownership, a rebuilt 351 Windsor engine was installed, and the project progressed through significant mechanical and cosmetic work.
Ownership later transferred to the current owners, who continued and completed the restoration.
The accompanying receipts document much of the work performed, including body and paint materials, replacement sheet metal, glass installation, driveline work, custom exhaust fabrication, and numerous Mustang-specific restoration parts.
